Description

Name: Urease(UE) Assay Kit

Method：Micro assay

Specification: 100 tubes/48 samples

Storage condition: low temperature and keep away from light

Validity: 6 months

Note: 2-3 samples with large expected differences must be taken for pre-calibration before formal measurement.

Significance:

UE can hydrolyse urea to produce ammonia and carbonic acid.UE activity is positively correlated with organic matter content, total nitrogen and quick nitrogen content, reflecting the nitrogen status.

Principle of Determination:

Determination of NH3-N produced by urease hydrolysis of urea using the indophenol blue colourimetric method.

Instruments and supplies to be provided on your own:

Visible spectrophotometer/enzymometer, water bath, adjustable pipettes, micro quartz cuvettes/96-well plates, mortar and pestle, ice, toluene (no courier allowed) and distilled water.
