in December 1970, Shouli Xie enlisted in the military where he underwent systematic professional medical training. While serving at the Health Office of the 60th Army Independent Battalion, he undertook comprehensive duties including providing clinical care, administering medications and injections, and supervising disinfection procedure, thereby making a substantial contribution to the medical support of the Unit. Upon his honorable discharge in May 1975, he returned to his hometown to continued his commitment to public service, applying his acquired medical expertise to improve the health and well-being of the community. Throughout his career, he consistently drew on practical experience to innovate, developing numerous medical techniques and technologies.
