Determination method: Micro method

Specification: 100 tubes/96 samples

Storage conditions: low temperature and light protection

Valid period: 6 months

Note: 2-3 samples with large expected differences must be taken for pre-calibration before formal determination.

Significance:

Polysaccharide is a widely existed substance in living organisms, is a class of aldose or ketose by glycosidic bonds connected by the natural polymer polymer, it is an important biological macromolecule in living organisms, is one of the basic substances to maintain the normal functioning of life activities.

Determination principle:

Extraction of total polysaccharides using aqueous alcoholic precipitation method and determination of total polysaccharide content by phenol-sulfuric acid method.

Instruments and supplies to be provided:

Enzyme labeller, benchtop centrifuge, adjustable pipette, 96-well plate, anhydrous ethanol, concentrated sulfuric acid, distilled water, water bath.
