Name：Hemicellulase Content Assay Kit

Determination method: Micro method

Specification: 100 tubes/96 samples

Storage conditions: low temperature and light protection

Note: Choose 2-3 samples with large expected differences for pre-calibration before formal determination.

Measurement significance:

Hemicellulose is a mixture of polysaccharides tightly bound to cellulose in the plant cell wall, which is the main component constituting the primary cell wall, widely found in plants, and is a new type of available energy.

Principle of Determination:

Hemicellulose is converted into reducing sugar after acid treatment, and DNS generates reddish brown substance, with characteristic absorption peak at 540nm, and the absorbance value reflects the content of hemicellulose.

Balance, 40 mesh sieve, constant temperature water bath, oven, visible spectrophotometer/enzymometer, micro-quartz cuvette/96-well plate
